Be a volunteer! There are many ways to help.

We need one or two volunteers/volunteers to give us a hand especially during the trips to Italy of the project leader (Ilaria Moneta). We are looking for someone with a great spirit of adaptability (the lifestyle in Mwenga is very simple and the journey from Bukavu very tiring), fluency in French (or better yet Kiswahili!) and experience in education/management of groups of children and adolescents. Visa procedures are lengthy and complex, but we are counting on the support of one of the many religious communities in Bukavu to get an invitation letter, however, you need to move early. For our project in Congo, we are not recruiting additional volunteers for the time being due to access difficulties, but we are looking forward to more possibilities of on-site support in the near future.
